Boutonnière

Mini Vase

Boutonnière - a lapel pin for flowers -  is handmade in a special glass blowing technique by using goldsmith methods that are usually done with brass. A unique technique has been initiated by the designer, Omer Polak, in order to retain water and keep the flowers fresh all day long. Apart from being pleasing to the eye, the flowers also spread their fragrances while being worn. This idea is a suitable gift for weddings, proms or any special events.

Since the beginning of mankind, flowers were used for various purposes, including decoration and camouflage. Many flowers and their scents have gained recognition and are appreciated for their numerous qualities. A flower in a breast pocket is a cultural characteristic that goes back to the early 20th century, as a decoration symbolizing wealth and male fertility.
